About the Reid Nishizuka Mentorship Award
The Reid Nishizuka Mentorship Award at the University of Notre Dame was established in May 2013 by U.S. Air Force Colonel Andrew Cernicky. It is awarded annually to the graduating cadet from Air Force ROTC Detachment 225 who most embodies the characteristics displayed by Reid in his lifetime: a cheerful disposition, utmost professionalism, and superior mentorship.
